Who are we?

CELLULAR LINE

The benchmark brand in Europe.

Cellularline is currently the leading brand in Europe in the smartphone and tablet accessories market.

Founded in 1990 by Cellularline S.p.A., based in Reggio Emilia, and originally created as a distributor of the first mobile phones, the brand also owes its leadership to over 25 years of experience in the mobile phone industry.

The short battery life of E-TACS phones in the early years is what pushed Cellularline S.p.A. to produce mobile accessories—especially car chargers—and to launch a dedicated brand.

The Group

In Italy and throughout Europe

Cellularline strengthened its presence in Italy and began exporting its products abroad.

Soon after, given the success of the initiative, Cellularline S.p.A. began steadily producing mobile phone accessories, moving away from phone distribution; it strengthened its presence in Italy and started exporting its products abroad.

In 2005, Cellularline S.p.A. became a group, successfully extending its leadership into new distribution channels and new sectors, offering not only smartphone accessories but also accessories for tablets and MP3 players.

Also, in 2013, a majority stake in the company was acquired by L Capital, the LVMH Group’s private equity fund, marking the start of a new growth path toward international expansion and stronger brand positioning: in addition to its 6 European headquarters (in Italy, Germany, Dubai, France, Spain, and Switzerland), the company can now boast intercontinental distribution of the Cellularline brand in over 60 countries.

Thanks to a meticulous product strategy based on excellence in quality, design, and innovation, Cellularline offers solutions that keep up with technology trends, constantly aiming to combine top performance with ease of use.
