Who are we?

CELLULAR LINE

The European benchmark.

Cellularline is currently the benchmark brand in Europe for smartphone and tablet accessories.

Founded in 1990 by Reggio Emilia-based Cellularline S.p.A. as a distributor of the first mobile phones, the brand also owes its leadership to over 25 years’ experience in the telephony sector. The poor battery life of E-TACS phones in the early years was the reason that prompted Cellularline S.p.A. to produce mobile accessories, including cigarette-lighter chargers, and to launch a dedicated brand.

The Group

In Italy and throughout Europe

Cellularline has consolidated its presence in Italy and started exporting its products abroad.

Shortly afterwards, given the success of the initiative, Cellularline S.p.A. began to produce mobile phone accessories on a stable basis, abandoning the distribution of phones; it thus consolidated its presence in Italy and began to export its products abroad. In 2005, Cellularline S.p.A. became a group, successfully extending its leadership into new distribution channels and new sectors, offering accessories not only for smartphones, but also for tablets and Mp3 players.

What’s more, in 2013 the majority of the company was acquired by L Capital, Private Equity Fund of the LVMH Group, marking the start of a new evolutionary path towards internationalisation and brand affirmation: in addition to the 6 European headquarters (in Italy, Germany, Dubai, France, Spain and Switzerland), the company can now boast intercontinental distribution of the Cellularline brand in over 60 countries.

Thanks to a meticulous product strategy based on excellence in quality, design and innovation, Cellularline offers solutions that keep pace with technological trends, constantly striving to combine optimum performance with ease of use.
